Blackhawk Gauge

Blackhawk GaugeIn the 01/06/2021 meeting of the World Wide Wood Turners, one of the members asked how to correctly position the Wolverine Grinding Jig consistently every time. The problem: when removing or moving the 27″ ‘V’ Arm Attachment between uses, if not returned to the same orientation each time, the grind will not be the same.

There was discussions on how the problem can be solved (ie. how to set the orientation consistently). The explanation included the need to create a gauge to assure you position the “V” Arm identically every time. One person suggested that one gauge be created for each gouge, since each size gouge may need a different setup.
